what matters

we take our responsibilities as a fashion brand seriously, and the following measures have been our priority since the start. we have taken care to follow through on these principles without compromise; we know that there is always more that we can do to have a net positive impact on this planet – and the people within it – but we are proud of what we have achieved so far.

our environment

 

provenance of materials

all leathers used in our production are sur-plus leathers. meaning, high quantity productions come with leftover/deadstock materials that young brands like us can reuse and upcycle into our production. this way we are able to minimize our ecological footprint, by not using virgin leather for our leather accessories.

 

low waste

we only use materials that are by-products. this has been our priority since the start, and it dictates how we design each bag. if we think that our design will stray beyond the confines of the hides we work with, we scrap it and start all over again. because of this considered approach to design, we can afford to use sur-plus materials at a more affordable price point.

 

our carbon footprint

we started using only sur-plus materials for our bags in 2019. when we are creating our products we try to minimize our metal hardware usage.we are using public transport to carry materials and our finished products, this way we contribute to our city at the same we are lowering our carbon footprint.   

 

our people

all of our bags are made locally in our budapest based workshop. set into the buda hills, our leather workshop adheres to all european standards for pay and work conditions. we know all of the artisans who make our bags and we visit regularly to ensure that our standards are being met and our partners are happy.
